Hey, this is AMAZING!!

I have just recently looked into using jQuery and CSS to help eliminate certain parts of flash for many reasons, but the two big ones being compatibility (with pretty much every semi-modern browser and above) and speed, and oftentimes, the jQuery and CSS version looks nicer! :)

I was wondering if it was a good idea to have a bunch of different Mario brothers characters animate each other over and over again.

So, let’s say, have Mario, with his hammer, swinging, over and over again. This only uses 5 sprites for the animations before it loops itself.

Some of my animations would have about 8 sprites, and some would only require 3 or 4.

I would like to put about 20 characters or so on top of my logo, all doing different amusing activities.

Would this be pushing the resources of jQuery and CSS?

Also, how would I code, for just sprites to be repeating themselves over and over again?
